So you are likely asking what is Client Solutions?
 
A bit of back ground first. Lorie Garritty joined the Progressive team in mid August and Josh Cudmore came aboard in mid September. With the new faces, came an ideal opportunity to review all things claims, and while picking up on some ground work already being done by our friends at Pacific Home Warranty, we have fundamentally changed the way claims are administered.

The name Client Solutions says a lot. Instead of focusing on any problems that might arise in a builder/homeowner relationship, we focus on the solutions. We try hard to remain objective, listen to both sides of the situation, and strive for a win-win solution.

We always remind ourselves that our Member Builders, and in many ways their homeowners, are our customers. In dealing with issues regarding claims we have a simple four step mind set:

· Listen to the ‘customer’ concerns, don’t interrupt or question just LISTEN!
· EMPATHISE with their situation!
· Suggest a SOLUTION!
· Get a plan in place, don’t procrastinate, and take ACTION!

Research shows that a satisfied customer will tell 4 other people, a dissatisifed customer will tell 10.

So, it is in everyone’s best interest to settle claims in as timely and positive a fashion as possible. Our efforts have resulted in the creation of three new information pieces for our clients, which should have, or will be, arriving in your mailbox soon.

· An open letter to our Member Builders, where our new processes are clearly explained, including a step by step outline of what the builder and the homeowner can expect.
· A brochure titled A Guide to Managing the First Year of the Warranty, which focuses in on the responsibilities of both the Member Builder and the Homeowner.
· A brochure titled A Guide to the Conciliation Process, which is designed to help bring any issues to resolution in a timely fashion.

Lorie and Josh are excited to be part of the Progressive Team and we can hardly wait for new claims to come in……………Just Kidding!

Progressive Home Warranty is pleased to announce that we have hired two key new employees in our New Home Inspection department. Rod Margiotta and Tate Stuparyk bring many years of home warranty inspection experience to our team as they were both previously employed with one of our competitors (and it wasn’t Alberta New Home).


The first mandate for them both is to make the trip to all areas we service to introduce themselves and personally meet our Member Builders. Rod will be charged with handling inspections mainly in the greater Edmonton area, while Tate will handle most of the road duty in addition to some responsibility in the Edmonton area.


In conjunction with senior management at Progressive, Rod and Tate will be charged with setting the standards for construction for which we want our program to be known. The first few visits will allow Rod and Tate to familiarize themselves with your construction, and to begin working with you to ensure quality construction.


The key is, “they will work with you”. Rod and Tate both bring with them extensive experience, and they are excited to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with you on your projects.
